Welcome to the Hamilton County, Indiana site of the INGenWeb Project! My name is Michelle Peterson and as of July 2015, I am the new Coordinator for Hamilton County. Sharon Craig has done an amazing job for many years and I’m excited to continue her hard work. If you have information to share, please contact me. Thank you!
THANK YOU, Sharon
for all your years of hard work on this page.
Your time spent in dedication to this page will benefit those for generations to come!
Who are we? In March and April 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Indiana Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Indiana, where collected databases would be indexed and cross-linked so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page.
